Bio

Shirley is best known for creating evocative contemporary work in oils on canvas, interpreting the energetic life cycle of Muons and all the things we cannot see to bring them to the attention of the viewer.  Muons are elementary particles with a fleeting existence.

Underpainted with messages and words personal to her, the elusive Muons are overpainted in translucent circles portraying their dynamic life cycle. The result is a mesmerizing fusion of science and art, inviting viewers to contemplate the mysteries of existence that lie beyond the realm of perception.
